The very next day after my SX-70 has arrived, I read this tragic news at New York Times(click for more information).
It is announced that Polaroid is no longer manufacturing instant film including the film I will have to use for my new SX-70. More people are going into convenience of digital era and analog is getting no attention.
Polaroid have already discontinue selling instant camera one year ago.
I don't think it's a smart decision.
I loved this idea of getting real photo in my hand oppose to "data." and the moment watching the film getting developed is precious.
Anyone wants to take over production of instant camera &film with me?
Any committed company?
도착했어요~ I've been tracking down a delivery from UPS last few days. It's 70s SLR instant camera that I've won at Ebay. And it is here! I 've also ordered Netural Density Filter, couple packs of film, some accessories and carrying bag.

Modification for film 600
Specific film used for SX-70 was Time Zero (discontinued on 2006) which had ISO 125. SX-70 users had to find other instant film available in the market. Film 600 much faster than Time Zero film was an option, however ISO 600 gave too much exposure. Fortunately, with little bit of modification, it can still be enjoyable. These are the method I used
METHOD1. ND Filter (Netural Density Filter) -It is a sunglass for camera. Object the camera sees will be darkend by ND. Pro: Easy to use Con: Very hard to focus. Somewhat pricy for ND filter made with glass WhereToGetTheNDFilter
METHOD2. Removing Electric Eye Filter -This Electric Eye Filter calculates light it receives. By removing the dark glass, camera think it is too bright hense exposure darkens.
